This week we will study 1 Thessalonians 3:6-13.

Think about a time that you had a mentor, coach, or teacher who was absent for a long period of time. While they were away, did you continue to work, practice, or study? When they returned, were they satisfied by how you conducted yourself in their absence?

Paul found himself far away from Thessalonica, but in his concern for them sent Timothy to check in on them. And to his great satisfaction, the report was that the church was Standing Firm in the Lord.
